This is my snack box. It allows me to eat lunch around noon and dinner at 7-8.

Snack box: jerky, sharp cheddar cheese, apple slices, crunchy peanut butter, herbal tea

It usually includes some variation of:

  • fruit (fresh or dried)
  • nuts (or nut butter)
  • cheese
  • jerky (Market of Choice has a great selection of all-natural varieties)
  • vegetables (carrots are my favorite for traveling)
  • crackers
  • tea

I have to be sure to include a balance of carbs and protein, with minimal processed sugars. They put me to sleep. I like these foods because they are easy to prep, easy to transport (they don’t leak), and survive hours outside of a refrigerator.
